Pharmacy Services Overview at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center

As the Dartmouth Health system has grown and developed, so has our pharmacy. We have locations throughout the state of NH and VT. The pharmacy enterprise has expanded to include inpatient pharmacy services, retail pharmacy services, specialty pharmacy services, home delivery, and pharmacy supply chain. Our academic medical center leads the way regionally and nationally in patient care, supported by a progressive clinical pharmacy program and operating the only 24-hour retail pharmacy in the Upper Valley of New Hampshire. The organization is also a teaching institution with the pharmacy offering nationally accredited resident programs and actively participates with area colleges of pharmacy for student development. These trainees are incorporated into the various facets of the pharmacy enterprise. The pharmacy has a growing and robust ambulatory program with the largest outpatient/retail pharmacy in New Hampshire, specialty pharmacy services, and a regional clinical ambulatory pharmacy program placing pharmacy practitioners at our largest community group practice sites across the state. Our division is supported by the latest in technology, from our Epic EMR system to the latest in robotic, carousel, and dispensing technology through an integrated platform across the sites of our health system.
